Equip and Enable project teaches key skills

We undertake research on employment issues, particularly for BME groups, migrants and refugees.

We provide support to people seeking employment, and help them to understand the system of jobs in the UK, build their confidence, equip them with skills for finding work such as:

  • writing CVs
  • completing application forms
  • preparing them for interviews
  • searching for jobs

Equip and Enable

For example, our Equip and Enable project has helped over 12 people access training courses, job placements, voluntary work, part time jobs and full time work.

Empowering Northfield New Communities

Our Empowering Northfield New Communities Project helped people from new communities (migrants, refugees) living in South Birmingham to find part time or full time jobs.
